Abstract

Thepurpose of writing this article is to document the important events and people inthe first 50 years of diagnostic angiography and interventional radiology inSlovenia. During this period not only did the name of the institutions anddepartments change, but also its governance. I wanted to depict the importantroles different people played at various times in the cardiovascular divisions.I wanted to show contribution of others outside radiology and diagnosticangiography for development of interventional radiology (IR) in Slovenia.
